Check in and check out

How do I check in?

Because we like to meet our guests, our host or hostess will receive you personally as much as possible. You will then receive a short explanation of how everything works and some more information about the church and the surrounding area. If a personal reception is unfortunately not possible, we work with a key safe.

What is check in time?

Usually, you can check in from 15:00 on the day of arrival. But this varies from church to church. So pay close attention to the information on the page of the specific location, under ‘facilities’. Wishes regarding arrival times will be coordinated with You and Your local host. When there is no other option, we offer checking in with a key safe.
When there is a funeral at the Dorpskerk in Oosterwolde, check in is from 17:00.

Until what time is check in?

You can check in between 15:00 and 18:00. In the unlikely event that you do not meet the latest check-in time, please contact the host or hostess. Contact details can be found in the instruction email that you will receive from us three days before the start of your stay. Some churches have unexpected events, therefore check in time may vary. In these events we will contact you.

What time is check out?

In most churches you can usually check out no later than 12:00 on the day of departure. Check-out times may also vary per church. Read the information on the church page under ‘facilities’. In some churches there can sometimes be an unexpected funeral. The check-out time may then differ. In these events we will contact you.
